Amigos empiezo en 2009 con nuevas, ya se nos dio la noticia que el Nuevo Numero de Tierra Adentro 155-156.
Estara de venta ya en la proxima semana y pues me hicieron el honor de ser parte del numero junto con otros 7 amigos ilustradores y artistas.

nEWS guys.... We have been informed (The eight participants of the next issue of Tierra Adentro issue 155-156 dedicated to all the Strident Movement and I am really glad for being part of this magazine that is really a big steps in many terms!!)

Esta es la pieza que sera expuesta el proximo Febrero en el compilatorio artistico de El Santo de mi Devoción y pues les dejo los lapides y entintados.
El Increible amigo y colorista Renato Guerra sera el encargado de los colores de esta pieza!!

This is my take on the next Exposition called "El Santo de mi Devoción" that is a homage to El Santo enmascarado de Plata and it will be celebrated over Feb in Mexico City.
The amazing colorist of The Phantom and amazing friend and collaborator Renato Guerra will be in chores of coloring the piece!

Luchas Night!!!! The Best Show from Queretanos.

This is my first time going to the Annual Christmas celebration from The Arena in my Hometown and I have to say that is was Awesome!!!!
Amazing show... I hope next year to be there again.
Dance Boy took the night and The last match was Eragon versus Drabek. Eragon lost his mask as the odds were assumed.
Thank you to Don Carlos Maynes and Don Javier Montes for the places and the organization.

I highly recommend this band a lot THE TEMPER TRAP.
If you like that kind of Emo music like Austin TV mixed with a little of Kaiser Chiefs this might be of your taste!

GOLDEN AGE. Accident in Paradise.

Well I had to redraw the piece because I set the image at the reach of my nephew and you can see the result.
This time I was not angry because He has a natural ability to draw and I want to nurture it, what his mother did was to reinforce with me LIMITS with my nephew in terms of what moment to draw and in what places.
So I redrew it...to be honest I corrected mistakes I did over the last piece put I guess the inking magic is there. I had the time to try to fix the piece so now I have two pieces of art!.

Well again insomnia but because I needed to do a piece of art and well I guess I finished on time almost six a.m.
Kumiker will color this piece so expect the art posted on saturday, I am just missing some background but I will do it after the classes I have in the Evening and late night!

El Santo de mi Devocion.

As many of you know I was invited by the amazing friends of Comikaze to be part of the Exposition that will be done over Feb in Mexico City and well maybe the most incredible cast of illustrators and comic artist are part of the Event.
This is just a peek of what many will see over the Expo.
The amazing work of Humberto Ramos and colored by Betteo, and a piece of Betteo full art. (I hope They do not mind I took the images from their sites).
Amazing work that gives the gauge and quality you will see there!!


My piece will be displayed as soon as I get the approval of the organizer of the Expo and btw Renato Guerra will give the colors to my piece.

If you can buy the amazing story arc of Solomon Kane...JUST DO IT!!
The Artwork is done by the great amigo Mario Guevara, If you could see his work closer as I have done it, you will be impressed by the virtuos hand He has.
He is one of the most frank and nicest guys I have ever had the pleasure to meet and I am so grateful to him and his words about me and my work.
He was so kind to give me the first two issues of Solomon Kane and an original of a page from his run on Solomon Kane edited by Dark Horse!!...It is amazing, just amazing as a person and as an artist!!

Illustrations for this week! II

I am done with pair of illustrations I did for SUPERLUCHAS EL ANUARIO 2008 (The Annual of Superluchas 2008)that will be on sale in some weeks!!

I am loading the process of the last piece, I gotta say that there were many things I was not that satisfied(mainly the little frame of time involved), in the overall I liked the pieces and for drawing some of the Wrestlers for the first time, well it gave me a bit of a hard time but came quite well, next time I hope the pieces work much better!!

Now the work is in hands of Federico Blee a great friend and amazing designer coloring both pieces!!
