Me pareció muy buena la idea de Rius de hacer algo que represente el hartazgo en el que estamos, como yo lo entiendo esto es una demostración de que estoy yo en contra de La Guerra de Calderón.

No voy a entrar en defender mi opinión solo puedo resumir que lo que ha pasado en estos años ha sido decepcionante, esta Guerra es como cuando alguien entra en tu casa y se pone a vomitar por toda la sala, ¿porque tengo yo que limpiar lo que provoco alguien más?.
Si me dicen que es tarea de todos estar apoyando esto, para mí es sencillo, yo desde mi trinchera ayudo y trató de no dañar, cada quién tiene su tarea en este país, unos de hacer respetar las leyes y hacer justicia, pero como no han podido pues con violencia, y la violencia genera violencia.
Que esperas cuando se la mientas a otro.
Si tengo que agradecer que por acá las cosas están medio tranquilas pero es feo saber que amigos cercanos están en medio de algo que no deberían estar, eso no es lo que queremos que nuestros hijos aprendan, no queremos que sea una nueva generación efímera donde es pelear entre nosotros cuando otros son los que ganan.

De la pieza, es con foto referencia y a partir de ahí saldrá solita, quería que fuese directo el mensaje y pues experimentando con la técnica.
Yo espero acabar en unos días más, según yo iba a empezar mañana pero como no salí de casa estoy pintando para mí.

I am thinking in doing what David Finch did with the new Batman outfit (to dark the pencil work enough make the design a bit brave).
Funny but the costume looks like the shirts of a soccer team in my country called Las Chivas (the goats, terrible team since it was bought by Vergara the former owner).

ENDING THE YEAR.

Year is coming to the end and I will keep this brief as possible.

Thank you to all the guys who come here and see what I do with my teams of work and my friends.

This year was half good and the last part really shitty but as knowing I do not get anything by complaining, I got to say that I hope new people get into the comic medium soon, sadly the medium is almost zero, at least in my country, only full of great individual efforts or group efforts but not an industry per se,so I really hope more people wanting to create comics and investing their own money come.

If you have the talent but you lack of discipline, you will get nowhere.
If you like drama or like complaining about why is difficult for you to break, more people are in the same line trying to work it out or to change that, which one do you want to be?, OPEN YOUR OWN DOORS (That is I guess the best advice I can give, do not expect someone else to solve what you do not want to solve, just do it! :))
And back to the first part, If you work in your talent and skills and practice everyday that will take you somewhere. No work and no practice equal to No career.
Comic work is not divided into indy or mainstream, the only logic in comics is art well done or not.

About me and plans, well I have 2 plans there, so I hope over mid Jan to talk about them, working on that as We speak.:)

When I was in high school I wrote a plot for a comic, seems 2011 will be the right time to get into that idea, I will only work over next year at least 6 pages and see if the comic can take off.

I was tempted to change the look of the main character and make it more in tune to my work nowadays but I realized that I want to have at least for this character the same vibe when I designed it over high school.

Let's see what happens in the short future with this!
At least not my priority I have some closer comic plans and also Blam to get done first.

Btw did I tell you that the first Cover of Blam! will be inked by the amazing JOSEF RUBINSTEIN. :)
