Black Make up and Red Lips.

A brilliant Satire and a bit diffucult to understand if You are not as related as you wish to many of the topics of the movie, I am not saying that I am not related on the discrimination issue ( I haven´t mentioned how I was discriminated recently by some snob people..hahahah..hopefully I will talk about it in some days!!), I am reffering about the chronological and important events that made the afroamerican culture be what it is for instance I never knew of the two athletes raising their fist over the 68, or many of the paraphernalia used to frame the movie. I enjoy a lot the series of slangs used over the movie because many of them were in used in the 1920´s. A great movie from Spike Lee Jones. The only thing I was not that keen was the voice that Damon Wayans decided to used for the neutral character.

"Symphaty for Mr. Vengeance", "Old Boy" and "Symphaty for Mrs. Vengeance". And I watched the last two what it means that I am missing the first one so I need to start my research to find it!

¡Viva Mexico Ca..! II

I still do not know If tomorrow will be a posting day, so I am writing in advance what I will do.
Tomorrow morning I need to check some photocopies I ordered to a guy but They were not ready some hours ago so that means tomorrow I need to chase the guy to have my copies back, the copies are going to be in used for the Monography, thanks God my teacher decided that the presentation is next Wednesday, so I have time to work in some design so expect work loaded over the weekend. In the afternoon I have my classes and I am expecting few people to come..Why? Because it is the most important Day in my Country our Independence Day!!.
And for the first time in years I am expecting and hopefully going to The Cry for The Independence (a kind of ritual where the President or Governor screams out loud "Viva Mexico" and "Viva The Independence Heroes" while mentioning all of our Patriotic heroes and a display of fireworks is in every plaza in my country, and as a secret I am planning to eat a lot of tacos and If I can drink (I do not drink but I am in the mood to do so) at least 3 shots of Tequila and some beer!!

Drama over Drama

One of the bad parts of being far away is that We are not in contact of incredible movies around for instance I am trying to check the places where I can watch L´Enfant that is a french movie that has won tons and tons of awards and I do really hope there is a theater offering the movie, well the same happens with Azumi that is a movie I am really interested in watching so If someone can help me getting a copy of Azumi to watch at home I guess I can work on a comission for that person.
Wondy right here you are the expert from what I know I already watched "Old Boy" and "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance", beautiful movies produced by Tartan, and it seems that I am missing to watch Lady Vengeance that is the third part in the trilogy. am I right, aren´t I?.
If so, I was kind of informed that probably this movie will never reach the movie theaters my place. How possible would it be to get a copy of this movie?.

Vitriols Observing Pale Colors of Doom

So many things have happened over the days, as you can see I am showing off my new pair of glasses, funny but I am quite happy with the line of them, also as you might notice I am a bit thinner after 5 weeks of a nutriologist given diet, now I am just taking 2 more weeks and after that I will start working out as I used to do in the past, you can also see I am a bit fossie :). I am still amused why I never laugh or smile at my own photos!!! :).
Second pic is just the mask I bought last time I went to Las Luchas and Yes! You are right the mask is from Mistico and it is signed too!! :). I had such a great time that day, because of the good fights over and next Tuesday will be also Awesome!!!. I am still amused why I got involved into Luchas and one of the reasons is My amigo Nik Havert! Thanks a lot!!! I have also bought one for him and one for Victor Alos, as soon as I get some money I will start sending masks!! :)

The last two pics is my experiment: Do you remember I order two prototypes? mainly to know how this producer works and I was really pleased with the result, in case you ask me by November I will have a set of images for sale in T-shirts with original work from me and some friends I am starting to reach, besides that I will start working on some Serigraphy designs using Shields and some ideas that are over my head as We speak. In case people is interested let me know. In the profile is the way to get in contact to me!. I am trying to move the plans solidly and firmly.
Tomorrow I have our first meeting to start having plans, schedules and ways to work.

Love for Dummies: Love Shack.

Wondy gave me a nice idea to talk about something that I haven´t thought in a while probably because it didn´t chase me any longer and because I do not normally keep myself stuck in the past, but this exercise will help me realize some stuff from the present. Sorry for using part of your words Wondy!.
Today's post is going to be about lurve. Oh yeah baby, L-O-V-E love.Everybody loves love, right? It makes the world go round (or is that money?), it conquers all, it is all around us and it's all we need, right?Right?!There are some topics that I steer away from in case someone I love reads about them and gets narky. Things about the past for instance, the things that have made me the person I am now.Today I'm thinking, screw it. I feel like dipping my toe into the warm waters of the past for a little while.So here it is. The three loves of my life that have lead me to where I stand now. Some of it ain't pretty...
I have had three loves in my life so far. Technically I have been dating more girls and some of them a pain in the ass and some of them so incredible but only some of them really counts or at least are memorable.

Pretty Candid Love. The first (and last) time I ever had everything so simple.
I met this girl in my classes of art in fact I guess We met since We were really young (probably 14 or 15), She was so nice with me so I fell in love instantly, I still have her photo in one of my old design books She became like the impossible love because We were boyfriend and girlfriend for mere days because She needed to study and returned back to Mexico City, What I remember from her is her voice and her laughter, her voice is a bit grave thing that seems to me really sexy, It was the only girl I really dedicated years loving her, when She returned from Mexico We still be kind of friends and once while I was dating the girl I was for over 5 years I finally got the chance to be with the love of my life because She was free in that time but my ethical values made me decide to continue with the girlfriend I had on that time, thing that I do not regret but as you know life and time passed by She got married and now She has a beautiful boy and as a tiny secret She is the only girl that I would like to be back in my life with kid and everything. I guess for her I was just another one but for me She was really special.
Lesson learned: Control my emotions.

Secure love. The first and last one in that kind.
I was with this girl for 5 years and to be honest it has been the best couple I have ever had in life and I can say only great things from her and more beyond that, We met in a weird way I was the boyfriend of her bestfriend, hahah you guessed it her friendship with the girl was over and We started dating for about 5 years even plans to get married were in the air but She couldn´t have resisted my artistic process (To be a comic book illustrator has sacrifices and I had to pay in a way my dues breaking the relation aside some other issues on that time that I won´t talk about). As I have said to some people If I had married with her I would have been a happy guy but not satisfied, We had different paths. I know I destroyed her but I know I did the right thing.
She still talks great things about me and I really appreciate it!.
Lesson learned: Not to be in a cozy place just because I am secure over it.

Lame Love.The last one who destroyed my illusions on what love meant.
After breaking with Secure Love I started a relation that in few words was the most horrible 11 months I had ever had. Why? Simple I loved her with all my guts (some friends tell me it was pure lust) while She never knew If she liked me or not,never loved me for sure!, but She was with me telling I was her love and telling her friends She felt nothing for me. She was not young but not old I guess She was just a pampered snob girl in her 21 years old, She cheated on me once and I made the wrong decision to forgive and I return with her so She could cheat on me once more and finally break the little pieces I had on that time, now I am so over her and in a way I treat her in the same way I now treat You know who only desdain and nothing else!.
Lesson learned: Never give a second chance for free, She has to earn it!

And well I am still clueless about this process of searching...thanks Wondy for making me think about something I haven´t done in years!

Kosmical lines.

Before getting into topics let me recommend music that is in my room now...There are only 3 girls that make me have the jitters everytime I listen to their music: Annie Lennox (her solo career), Beth Gibbons (Portishead and solo career) and Janis Joplin so I decided to buy this jewl called JANIS JOPLIN 18 ESSENTIAL SONGS. A masterpiece if you like her music and believe me to shag with this music is just great! :)
Also I bought The New CD of Zoé called "Memo Rex y el Corazón Atómico de la Vía Láctea 2006" is in stores now and I can only recommend the music of this band because as some time They mentioned in one of their interviews there were looking to have a high stand quality as Soda Stereo and believe me they are really near to be the best band in my country.

Bread and Circus.

I am still blind :)! But today in the afternoon I will write a long post later on with all my superpowers back and working and my new pair of glasses. I am still a bit sick from my voice but much better.
Thank you to June, Wondy, Heather and Rainy for all the best wishes I hope at night to respond the posts. Last Sunday I went to the Circus with one of my best friends girl, Yes the one who is always going with me to Las Luchas, I have to be honest only one frigging word was on my mind the entire show. CRUELTY!. Maybe I am just old fashioned but I didn´t like the way they were treating animals...I enjoyed more when the actors and actresses were performing. I had a nice time not great, a very nice one considering I am still blind.

The Black Dahlia.

This is the new movie that I am eager to watch coming soon in USA, probably in 5 months will reach my place. I do really hope this movie is not a bad one. In case you do not know about Black Dahlia it was one of the most famous murders over 1947 where She (a pseudo actress) was found dead and cut in half.

On The Edge Of That Scary Dark Fairie Tale.

Damn! I guess my organism couldn´t resist all the schedule and yesterday I collapsed, nothing serious I have to say but enough to be in halth for some days, well after all the bunch of classes I have been giving recently my voice was a bit hurt but after a rain storm my voice started to be in bad shape and yesterday I started to have that hard sore throat and since yesterday night I am just voiceless...hahahahaha!. That was nothing compared to my dumbness I was looking for my glasses yesterday morning to get ready to work and what it was my suprise that my glasses were just smashed and broken just an stupid accident and all my fault, so now I am without glasses and I feel like a mole..hahahahaha! So that means I can not advance a lot in my Monography not at least till Wednesday when I get my new pair of glasses that of course I have to order first time in the morning of Monday, and the presentation is on Friday, I hope my teacher helps me. hahahahahahah!!!
And that is also the reason I couldn´t finish my political cartoon till today, and just as the cherry at the top of the cake, I was home sleeping after a mild fever phase I got. Did I say I saw yeterday You Know who?...hahahahah!. Well Shit happens the good thing is that I was told today in the morning that I will get an increment in one of my jobs at least an increment for 1 month, and I loved that because that is the money for my glasses.

I Already Pulled The Handle.

As some of you have been noticing I was absent for so many reasons, first I was trying to get the rhytm with my jobs, as I said. Good news!!, The company where I was giving classes decided to continue with the contract so I will start working with them a couple of months more so that means money, I also started giving classes to an elementary public school, and I am fascinated with my students, I was also starting this week in my regular job in the school where I have been working for ages and They decided to give me an extra class, so I am happy.
Today I paid for two prototypes of the T-shirt business I have been talking in a while, so next week I have a reunion with the people who will start with me the business, thankfully are only friends, a nice girl accountant and sister of one of my best friends and a nice girl who studied illustration, so We are trying to find the right way to start the business.
Comic work as I said I will start working full time by the second or third week of October when I am done with my Monography, I am taking this weekend to finish part of it because I have a presentation of the project next Friday, Wish me Luck!.
Starting Monday I will start loading a semi-tutorial in how I design Architectonical spaces and furniture as part of my Monography so stay tune because for funny that is sounds is the same method I use in my Comic Work.
Also and finally I am taking next week to agree about my official web site, I have not reach this nice friend about it but I just wanted to wait till I have some news about payments and stuff to start working on it, and now I have some good news for her.
So as you have seen I have been really busy but happy and on October finally getting into my Comic World.
Did I mention I was discriminated last week by a person?..hahahahah... or mention about my Lovelife?
Well I hope over the days to tell you what happened and also my review of Last Tuesday When I went to Las Luchas!!
